I am on HCG injections and heard that they can make you more fertile. 

Though my husband and I are not currently trying, we have concerns. 

If I should conceive while on the injections, how would I find out that I am pregnant. I am very irregular as it is. 

Do blood tests detect HCG the same way that the pregnancy tests do? 

Also, if I am on the injections for a month or so until I find out that I am pregnant, have I harmed the baby? please respond.
