Re: Pregnancy while on HCG hCG and obesity Discussion ForumFrom: Dr. Daniel Belluscio Email: , Email
CommentsHello,
hCG is a substance produced in enormous amounts during pregnancy.
No harm to a baby can be done because human embryos are literally flooded with hCG. If you initiate a treatment and later on you discover you're pregnant, you simply have to quit the method: your organism will produce huge amounts of hCG.
hCG injections can be detected in blood. But oral hCG cannot, because only a small fraction of the entire molecule is absorbed.
Therefore, if you are treated with oral hCG and your pregnancy test turns out to be positive: you're pregnant!.
With hCG injections you have to wait 3-4 days before performing a blood test for pregnancy.
Best wishes,
