So doctor, How can you prescribe this drug for obesity? 

It will immediately shut down testosterone production in men.

 That's not conducive to losing fat, nor raising metabolism. 

I'm not sure that I believe that HCG is bioavailable in an oral form, either. 

This sounds alot like the "Oral Human Growth Hormone" scams to me.... 

But I'll tell you what: I'll inject 2500 IU's of Pregnyl a week for a month and see if I lose weight.
