I loss considerable weight using this method in the 70s, but I had a very bad side effect. Namely, hair loss.

 After each set of treatments, I'd end up with a bald spot and thinning hair. 

It was the same side effect that I had after my two pregnancies, except that my hair didn't thicken while under treatment like it did when I was pregnant. 

Now that I'm in my 50s and suffering from female pattern hair loss, I'm really concerned. Is there a way to eliminate this side effect when under treatment?
